Peace Amidst a Storm

The Storm on the Sea of Galilee is a painting from 1633 by the painter Rembrandt van Rijn. The painting shows the miracle of Jesus calming the storm on the Sea of Galilee, as written in the fourth chapter of the Gospel of Mark in the New Testament.

There are so many things to see in this painting and much we can learn from in it too.

What can you see?

Remember, keep calm in a storm.

"The course of conflict isn't determined by the person who
initiates but by the person who responds." (Mozart In The Jungle)

Could you dedicate a space in your classroom to celebrate the peacemakers of the world? Is there a pattern in the behaviour of those who respond?
